Hey, There!
I’m Sharon.
Hey girl—pull up a chair, grab your coffee (or sweet tea), and let’s get real for a second.
I’m the heart behind Prodigal Daughter: Light in the Shadows, and let me tell you—I didn’t always have it all together (spoiler: still don’t). I wasn’t raised in church, and for a long time, I thought just knowing God existed and trying to be a “good person” was enough. But the truth? I was lost, worn out, and knee-deep in a whole lotta pain—physically, spiritually, and emotionally. Chronic illness, fake smiles, and church hurt? Been there. Done that. Bought the T-shirt.
But even in my mess, Jesus came for me—not with a wagging finger, but with open arms. He didn’t just clean me up—He called me home. And now, I’ve made it my mission to reach out to every woman who’s ever felt like she doesn’t belong, doesn’t measure up, or doesn’t know where she fits in the body of Christ.
Prodigal Daughter is for the woman who’s done with surface-level faith and Sunday-only Christianity. She’s craving real healing, real truth, and a real relationship with Jesus. And if she’s anything like me, she’s also navigating the hard stuff—like invisible illness, anxiety, or that lingering “I should have it together by now” lie.
Through Spirit-led encouragement, biblical truth, and my partnership with Kingdom Alliance, I’m here to help her stop striving and start walking in the freedom she was always meant for. This ain’t just encouragement—it’s transformation, sister.
You’re not too broken, too far gone, or too late. You’re just in the middle of your comeback. So welcome home. We’ve been saving you a seat. 💛

My Mission
At Prodigal Daughter: Light in the Shadows, my mission is to walk alongside women who feel worn out by life, weighed down by chronic illness, and unsure where they stand with God. As someone who’s battled POTS and debilitating migraines, I know what it feels like to cry out from the floor—physically and spiritually. But I also know the healing power of Jesus who met me in my weakest moments and called me back to Him. This space was born out of my own story of wandering, wrestling, and finally coming home. Through raw encouragement, biblical truth, and Spirit-led community, I help women like you unlearn the lies, reclaim your identity in Christ, and find real rest—even in the hard.
